chirashi, newspaper inserts that are a staple of Japanese retail outlets”

This video shows how chirashi is inserted between the pages of a newspaper”

“This CM gives a parody of typical dialogue between a kung-fu master and his disciple appearing in an old-fashioned kung-fu movie”

“But Takuya Kimura is an icon. He is on the leading edge of the trend with his fashion etc. This may make people feel funny”

“Further, kung-fu master should tell something deep and important to his disciple. But this master is talking about “chirashi.” ”

“Chirashi is a cheap way to advertise. When I was a child, I often used the white back of chirashi papers for arithmetic exercise”

“But here comes another twist. In Japan, chirashi is a quite effective way to advertise for older people”
